This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 18, 2007:

i have looked at what makes me happy and i have analyzed it to death. I am happiest when i can make someone smile or laugh. we are here for only a little while. i try to make the best of it, no matter what might rain down on me later on.

i don't remember where i heard or read this before but happiness comes from something external to us (something or someone makes us happy), but joy comes from within…

i'm striving for daily joy… and am thrilled with happy days and nights.

Yes to that, Fenix!! Hello, Skylar!   It is a work in progress for me to not give away my happiness to bad weather, burnt pancakes and broken hearts.  I am trying to cultivate a deeper joy that is always “on” like the pilot light on the dryer.  It is always always there, I just need to get out of the way and let it be.

what if this moment was ENOUGH?  wouldn't that be great?
